Our Advisory Circle meeting held in Thunder Bay on October 30 and 31, 2025. The gathering brought together more than 22 members, both in person and virtually, including Indigenous youth, families and carers, Knowledge Holders, representatives from national Indigenous-led organizations, Indigenous and non-Indigenous allied researchers, service providers, Network staff, students, and trainees.

This collaborative space allowed members to share perspectives, strengthen relationships, and guide the ongoing work of the Network through Indigenous knowledge, lived experience, and community-driven insights.

A Core Team meeting also took place on October 29 at Dilico Anishinabek Family Care, where 16 members came together to align priorities and support the preparations for the Advisory Circle discussions.

Thank you to everyone who joined !

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
