Prof Iyer was an invited speaker for a plenary at the International Conference on Schizophrenia (Icons) hosted by SCARF (Schizophrenia Research Foundation) in Chennai, India, in August 2024, and gave a talk on ‘(Re)imagining youth mental health: Looking back and moving forward’. She also chaired a symposium on the Mental health of vulnerable populations, with speakers Dr.Suvarna Jothi, Dr.Shiva Prakash and Dr.Jayakumar Menon.
