Updated: Apr 21

This webinar is part of a series of conversations focused on the current realities experienced by young people. The objective is to better understand the issues shaping their experiences and to support the adults who surround them.

For this first session, discussions will focus on the benefits and risks of conversational AI, entering directly into clinical realities without alarmism or trivialization.

The webinar, moderated by Charles-Albert Morin, patient partner on the AIRE Project, will bring together:

  • Alexandre Hudon, Assistant Professor, psychiatrist and researcher at Université de Montréal;

  • Rose Bernard, intern with the AIRE Project and member of the AIRE Youth Committee;

  • Nicolas Leclair, collaborator and member of the AIRE Youth Committe.

Together, they will bring scientific, clinical, and experiential knowledge into dialogue in order to illuminate practice and foster collective reflection. This webinar series is part of the Aire ouverte project, an integrated approach aiming to improve access to and continuity of health and well-being services for youth by placing their voices and realities at the center of action.

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
