The recording of the third Midi Horizons webinar, co-presented by Dr. Srividya Iyer, and titled ‘’Youth, Ethnocultural Diversity and Suicide Risk,’’ is now available for replay.

In this webinar, Dr. Massimiliano Orri (Assistant Professor at McGill University, holder of the Canada Research Chair in Suicide Prevention, and researcher at the Douglas Research Center) and Srividya Iyer discuss how ethnocultural diversity intersects with youth mental health and suicide risk, highlighting important considerations for research, prevention, and clinical practice.

This webinar is part of the Midi Horizons series, an initiative of the SHERPA University Institute and CERDA, developed within the Trousses Horizons project. The series aims to support practitioners and professionals working in the field by sharing research insights and practical perspectives.

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
