On January 20 and 21, Professor Srividya Iyer participated in the second YOUTHreach Consortium meeting in Barcelona as a member of the project’s External Advisory Board.

The meeting brought together international partners, advisory board members, and youth representatives to exchange evidence, insights, and emerging findings on youth mental health. Discussions focused on clinical progress, ethical and meaningful youth involvement, implementation across diverse contexts, and future directions, including innovation, data governance, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence to improve mental health care for young people.

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
