Srividya Iyer speaks at the Equity in focus conference on childhood pain

On November 3rd, Professor Srividya Iyer delivered a keynote talk at the Equity in Focus: Transforming Pain Research for Inclusive Childhood event, at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal. 


The conference brought together researchers and clinicians to explore diverse perspectives on childhood pain, from social determinants and equity considerations to clinical management and medical implications. 


Srividya Iyer’s keynote, titled Integrating Social Structural Determinants, Equity, and Inclusion in Childhood Pain Research and Care, highlighted the importance of intergrating equity and inclusion principles in research and clinical practice.
