YMHC Team Presents at the 9th GSAP Integrative Psychiatry Conference

Members of our team recently presented their research at the 9th Annual Integrative Psychiatry Conference, organized by the Graduate Student Association of Psychiatry (GSAP) of McGill University, hosted at the Douglas Hall.


Several members of our team presented their work in oral presentations:


  • John Bedirian, What makes mental health care exceptional for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth?

  • Elisa Guichenal, Environmental scan of art displays and therapeutic design elements in Canadian youth mental health services.

  • Julie Quadrio, Brilliant Care for Vulnerable Youth: Identifying Brilliant Mental Health Practices for Immigrant and Racialized Youth.


Chloé Pressoir gave an oral presentation on her work in collaboration with Dr. Linda Booij, and Sarah Ben-Nouna presented a poster on the Key characteristics of Aire ouverte, Quebec’s integrative youth service.



 
 

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
