Camille Barby

(she/her)
Administrative Assistant
MSc in Marketing, Design, and Digital

Camille holds a Master’s degree in Marketing, Design, and Digital from Montpellier Business School in France. She began her career as a Communications and Events Officer for a major French corporate group. Driven by her love for Quebec, she later immigrated to Montreal, where she worked as an External Sales Assistant for an IT consulting and services company. In this role, she strengthened her skills in administrative management, team coordination, and support, while fostering a strong spirit of collaboration.

Over the past few years, Camille has developed a keen interest in First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. She has deepened her knowledge through reading and, more recently, by earning a certification in Indigenous cultural awareness from the Ashukan Institute.

Camille thrives in environments where communication encourages knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation. She enjoys contributing to meaningful projects and using her skills to support initiatives that make a positive impact on communities. That is why she is thrilled to join the ACCESS Open Minds Indigenous Youth Mental Health and Wellness Network team as an Administrative Assistant. Camille is excited to contribute to an organization dedicated to improving access to mental health services for youth, and she looks forward to supporting a mission that places humanity, collaboration, and innovation at the heart of its work.

In her free time, Camille enjoys reading, baking, spending time with loved ones, and watercolor painting

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
