Havana Xeros

BA in Psychology

Havana Xeros is a Research Assistant with a focused interest in early intervention for psychosis. Havana holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Behavioural Neuroscience and Art History from McGill University. In her role at the Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychoses (PEPP), Havana has been involved in data collection for research initiatives examining first episode psychosis. Most recently her work has focussed on identifying treatment preferences among patients, family members and clinicians in first episode psychosis clinics across Canada. Havana’s academic interests lie in qualitative methodologies, phenomenology, and the influence of digital culture on mental health. Havana would like to pursue a career as a mental health Researcher and Clinician in the future. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Havana enjoys creative writing, visiting art galleries, and travel.
