Leah Knecht

Leah is currently entering her third and final year at McGill University studying psychology, minoring in sociology and behavioural science. Having previously worked at a day camp for low-income children and as a research assistant at a lab examining resilience in Indigenous children and youth experiencing poverty, she is largely interested in how marginalized pediatric populations at risk for mental health problems learn to cope with stress. In the future, she hopes to go to graduate school to become a psychologist, supporting young, marginalized children as they learn strategies that can help them in their everyday lives.
